Welcome to our place!
We are a family of four: me (Manuel), my wife Leena, my daughter Thia and my son Tevin. My parents are also around all the time, as well as some more extended family. We opened this home stay in August 2013, but we still have outside office jobs. Our dream, though, is to build a couple more rooms and dedicate our time exclusively to welcome and take care of our guests.
​My father has also had a home stay for many years and he inspired me to open up my own place. After building our house with so much care, Leena and I decided we wanted to share it with travellers because we love meeting people from all over the world and want to make sure they are well treated while in Cochim.

We believe a home stay is not only a place to stay. It is an opportunity for people from different backgrounds to have a deeper connection. If we notice you need your space and some silence, that is what we will give you. If you are more in the mood of interacting, we are always happy to do so, since we learn and exchange so much from it.
We a​re also always ready to help our guests in whatever ways we can. Booking train tickets, giving directions, advising about nice places to visit around Kerala, reccommending health services, informing about special events in the area, organising tours, going shopping with you, cooking some nice food when you don't wanna go anywhere etc.
